class="zem_slink" title="Marketing" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing">marketing</a> has increased their subscriber base.<br

class="zem_slink" title="Nielsen" rel="homepage" href="http://nielsen.com">Nielsen Company</a>, the same organization that held the conference that brought about the controversial claim, agrees. The results of their 2009 study of email and social media use indicate that “social media use makes people consume email more, not less…particularly for the highest social media users.”</p><p>“If you want to know what people like us will do tomorrow, you look at what teenagers are doing today,” Sandberg touted.</p><p>So let’s take a look at what they are doing today. In a 2009 survey of people 18-24, the Participatory Marketing Network and Pace University found that the majority of those surveyed would rather abandon social networks long before they stopped using email.</p><p>Generation Y spends a large amount of time on social sites. Their average time spent on social networks each month is 33 hours, making them high social media users.</p><p>When they were asked which activity they would least like to give up for one week, only 9% said social networks, as compared to 26% for email.<br

Whether you are growing your email list or looking for people to “like” your brand on Facebook, any and all eyeballs on your service are welcome.</p><p>You have to remember that social networks rely on email in the most basic sense. Facebook requires an email address to log on, and their emails notify you of updates, friend requests and comments.</p><p>Rather than deny the importance of email, Facebook should embrace it! If that&#8217;s what you are interested in, make sure the product is</p><p>something you will definitely use.  Otherwise, you will be wasting money that your family may not have to spare.</p><p>It took me 4 long years to learn how to <a

class="zem_slink" title="Trial and error" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trial_and_error">trial and error</a>.  You won&#8217;t know what works until you fail at it.  Sounds crappy, huh?</p><p>But one thing is for sure, if you change your mind, you can change your life.  There are few things in life we have control of and changing our mind is one of them.  When we change our mindset, we can envision a future that has absolutely nothing to do with our present circumstances.  If you are unemployed and want to start your won <a
class="zem_slink" title="Business" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business">business</a>, then this is the best time to do it.</p><p>Let&#8217;s face it, the economy is never going to be the same again.  Those jobs that we used to be able to get and remain on for 30 years are gone.  They are in essence, yesterday&#8217;s news.  The problem becomes are you going to be yesterday&#8217;s news?</p><p>I have reinvented myself in the last two years because I lost my job in 2008.  In my mind, I believe I am the best blogger/photographer in the world.  Now that may not be true if you read my <a
class="zem_slink" title="Alexa" rel="homepage" href="http://www.alexa.com/">Alexa</a> stats, but I believe in myself and my ability to transform my life.  That&#8217;s what you have to have, belief in the impossible.</p><p>Yes, it&#8217;s true, it takes <a
class="zem_slink" title="Money" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money">money</a> to make money.  I accept that as a condition of my work.  Recently, I bought <a
class="zem_slink" title="Advertising" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advertising">advertising</a> in a local <a

While that isn’t wrong, it is only part true.  Submitting an article to an <a
class="zem_slink" title="Article directory" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_directory">article directory</a> would get it on the internet. That part is what’s correct. But, it won’t mean that the article will actually get viewed, and it also won’t mean that people will click the backlink.</p><p>Basically, you could end up with 1,000 articles that each get 1 view a day since no one can find the article, and getting a total of maybe only 10 click throughs.<br
/> Which is why, the basic ‘dummies’ theory of article marketing is this:</p><p><em>1. Position your articles where they can be found<br
/> 2. Write headlines that gain attention<br
/> 3. Evoke interest in the article body<br
/> 4. Call to action in the resource box<br
/> 5. Get more visitors to visit your article</em></p><p>Chances are, unless you’ve done article marketing before, you probably didn’t understand any of that. Let’s take a look at them one by one.</p><h2>Using Keywords to Position Your Articles</h2><p>In a nutshell, keywords are just words or phrases that people use to search for anything and everything online. Seeing as we’re getting the nomenclature out of the way, ‘keyword density’ is the amount of a certain keyword per 100 words.  Keywords are important – that can’t be stressed enough. Considering that search engines are still the primary way in which people look for anything on the internet, it means that people who are looking for things in whatever niche you’re in, are going to be doing so on search engines.</p><p>Thus, when talking about positioning your articles, it essentially means positioning them in the relevant searches, so that they’re more likely to be found by the right people.  What happens if this isn’t done? Well, say you had an article about blogging for money, but it didn’t contain any keywords that are being searched for a decent amount of times per month. In this sort of case, there would be no<br
